Our Funders & Other Supporters

We are incredibly grateful to all our funders who allow us to continue our work across the High Peak.

High Peak Community Arts is a registered charity (No. 517887) and a company limited by guarantee (No.2036083.) We rely on income from grants and donations to be able to provide our programmes, which are free at the point of access.

We are very grateful for the support we have been given from Derbyshire County Council over many years, which we continue to receive. Similarly, High Peak Borough Council has continued to provide some core support to our organisation.

In recent years regular funding from statutory sources has been greatly reduced, and in the future we will have to meet the core costs of running our charity from project budgets and a greater range of small funders, including local donations from the people of the High Peak. We are also indebted to our Friends of High Peak Arts, for their continued support.

Major project funders include:

The Big Lottery – Project eARTh

Arts Council England (Project Grants) – Youth Programme

The National Foundation for Youth Music – Youth Programme

Derbyshire Music Education Hub – Tall Tales, and in the past the Music Arts Pod

Ashley Family Foundation – Sheep To Craft

South West Peak Landscape Partnership – Sheep to Craft

Bingham Trust

Other funders over recent years have included:  Lloyds Bank Foundation, The Foyle Foundation, The Ernest Cook Trust, Foundation Derbyshire, The High Sheriff’s Fund and many more.

A big thank you to all our funders for their support and investment in the work of High Peak Community Arts.
