White Stuff opened the doors of its brand new store in Buxton in December 2015. The shop features a mix of clothing, footwear and accessories for men and women, and homeware.
Every year White Stuff commits to donating at least 1% of its annual profits to charity. We were delighted when High Peak Community Arts won a public vote to be the chosen partner charity of White Stuff Buxton.
The shops boosts HPCA’s coffers each quarter but donating 1% of the Buxton shop’s profits to us.

The shop sells a range of mouth-watering sweets behind its counter, all profits from which go towards the projects that High Peak Community Arts run. Staff take great pride in bagging up the sweets in a very inventive and creative way.
Recently, the store has introduced a 5p donation for every carrier bag used by customers. All of these 5 pences add up, and all come to High Peak Community Arts.
Staff at the store assist in fundraising efforts by, for example, holding second hand book sales and bake sales (with all cakes made by store staff.)
As Juliette Turner, Customer Host at White Stuff Buxton, told us:
“It’s about giving back to the local community. We like any opportunity to give back.”
We are incredibly grateful to The White Stuff for their continued support of High Peak Community Arts. Do check out their store next time you are in Buxton. And do buy a bag of sweets…remember that all profits from these treats come back to High Peak Community Arts!
