DESCRIPTION:Join us for a series of exciting music and creative workshops designed for home-educated young people aged 8 -18. \nWork alongside experienced musicians to develop your jam playing\, composition\, and collaboration skills and create original music to perform at a live music festival in September. \nWhat’s on offer: \n\nInstrumentals & Vocals — led by multi-instrumentalist Gareth Carbery\nWriting & Composition — led by singer-songwriter Rizzy Stephenson\nCross Artform & Performance — explore another art form to complement your music\n\nParticipants can also work towards an optional Arts Award qualification. \nDates: Wednesday 8th\, Friday 10th\, Wednesday 22nd & Friday 24th July \nTime: 10am – 3pm \nLocation: Barton Methodist Church\, 1 Chapel Street\, SK7 7HK \nCost: FREE for all home-educated young people \nTo register: Please contact sophie@highpeakarts.org \nSupported by Youth Music and Arts Council England.
