Arts Award Congratulations!
The Arts Award has taken a bit of a back seat for the last couple of years – but two of our longest running young participants received their awards in early October. Both Heather (Silver) and Georgia (Gold!) have been working on their portfolios for a few years, so well done to them for sticking

Well done to our 28 young people who passed their Arts Award during 2019! We’ve achieved 8 Explore level, 19 Bronze and 1 Silver; from the Music Arts Pod, Tall Tales and Film Cuts Club. Arts Awarders – Success!
Big relief here at HPCA – all 19 of our Arts Awarders passed their Explore and Bronze certificates!! Well done all! The moderator said: “What a super project’” and “Some lovely and rewarding journeys…” Look forward to getting your certificates in a few weeks!

Arts Award success!
We’ve just had our first moderation of the new Arts Award Explore level accreditation, with 26 young people from Chapel en le Frith and New Mills receiving the award! Sophie Mackreth, our Arts Award Advisor, is trained in Discover and Explore levels and is using it in the Film Cuts Club and Tall Tales project.

Arts Award
All our projects offer the Arts Award, from Explore level through Bronze, Silver and Gold. The award is accredited by Trinity College London, with Silver carries 10 credits at Level 2 on the Regulated Qualifications Framework – the same level as a GCSE grade A-C. The Gold award, at level 3 also carries 16 UCAS
