The Level Up programme is a free creative training programme designed for young people aged 13 – 25 who are curious about film, music, digital media, and creative careers. Whether you want to build confidence, learn new skills, volunteer, or gain paid work experience, this is your chance to get involved and help shape what comes next.

Dates Across The Year:

Monday 30 March – Wednesday 1 April
Volunteering & Work Opportunities
Help to run workshops with younger participants. Take part at any age; volunteering available from 16+.

Tuesday 7 April – 6th June
Film Project Work on a focused film project with industry support from Into Film.

Tuesday 5th May Sustainability Training for Creative Practitioners
Learn how to make your creative practice more sustainable. Suitable for ages 16+ (13+ in some circumstances).

Tuesday 26 & Wednesday 27 May
Training shaped by you! Sessions designed from feedback from February sessions.

Thursday 28 May – 12th September
Music Project Collaborate with another youth project from South Derbyshire: play together, create together, and prepare for a festival showcase in September. Help us test INNERJAM, a new resource hub supporting independent music-making
