Starting April 2012 – the Youth Arts Hub is a pilot arts-based youth night, working with local volunteers and youth workers to start to plan what future longer-term provision could look like.
This is linked to “Soundscape” with Sam Woolstencroft, also from CAN.
Because it looks like the Youth Service Youth Clubs will all be closing, we are hoping to work with DCC to find out if a programme of Youth Arts activity could replace some of the provision. We will use the results of this pilot to firstly find out what works and what should be the shape of a future Youth Arts Hub, but also to cost out and get data on outcomes to market the activity to Derbyshire County Council, if they decide to commission youth activity from outside providers in the future.
